Innovaway has coordinated the technological development of the \u201cINFANT<\/strong>\u201d project, reaffirming its active role in driving innovation in the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n

Developed by the Automated Strategic Reasoning Lab at the University of Naples Federico II, under the coordination of Professor Aniello Murano, the project highlights Innovaway's expertise in cutting-edge technologies, particularly in the field of e-Health.<\/p>\n

The INFANT pilot project focuses on the development of a digital network for pediatric oncology in the Campania region, aiming to significantly improve the lives of many children with cancer and their families. The goal is to support the admission of young patients to hospitals closest to their homes, thus avoiding the displacement of families from their social environments and reducing the phenomenon known as \u201chealthcare migration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, the solution allows all healthcare facilities across Campania to access patients\u2019 medical records and treatment protocols through an efficient and secure platform, ensuring continuity of care and consistency in treatment across the entire region.<\/p>\n

As the leader of the technological partnership, Innovaway assumed strategic governance of the entire project ecosystem. The company not only managed the technical, administrative, and operational aspects, but also acted as a catalyst for innovation, leveraging its expertise in Industrial Research and emerging technologies. Specifically, Innovaway contributed its experience in Artificial Intelligence applied to areas such as data analytics, predictive systems, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge representation, algorithms and standards for digital healthcare, data security, and governance. The company was also responsible for scouting, co-design, development, and prototype testing.<\/p>\n

The INFANT project brought together Innovaway and three other technological partners: Kineton, Nexus, and Lasting Dynamics. Each contributed specific expertise in multi-cloud infrastructure, AI algorithms applied to e-Health, system integration, and user experience design.<\/p>\n

Professor Murano emphasized Innovaway\u2019s central role in coordinating the project\u2019s activities and operations:\u201cThe ability of Innovaway\u2019s engineers, developers, and programmers to translate concepts from my scientific research into actions, tools, and platforms essential for INFANT\u2019s development is truly commendable.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cINFANT reflects Innovaway\u2019s strategic vision: a company that has made industrial research part of its DNA, constantly investing in R&D to design and test innovative solutions with a tangible impact not only on the economic and production levels, but also on the social front,\u201d said Antonio Giacomini, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Innovaway.\n\u201cThis approach draws vital strength from solid and long-standing relationships with the academic and scientific world, contributing to the concrete improvement of crucial areas for the national system, such as healthcare \u2014 for the benefit of communities and the most vulnerable, especially children.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking to the future of the INFANT project, Innovaway hopes not only to consolidate its technical and scientific capabilities but also to expand the platform\u2019s implementation, with the aim of replicating the model \u2014 which will be tested in Campania \u2014 in other Italian regions and across Europe, thus spreading its benefits.<\/p>\n

Innovaway\u2019s commitment to the healthcare sector is reinforced by its extensive experience in developing digital solutions for clinical data management and integration, diagnostic support, care continuity platforms, and centralized appointment booking systems.<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s expertise has also been strengthened through long-term strategic collaborations. Among these, the partnership with the ASTREA Lab is a key element of the long-standing relationship between Innovaway and the University of Naples Federico II, particularly with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (D.I.E.T.I.) and Professor Murano, which began in 2019 with the SENECA urban mobility project, part of the Borgo 4.0 initiative.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
