A-Mobility Smart City

Develop and test new solutions to improve the performance of autonomous vehicles in particular manoeuvring scenarios and traffic conditions thanks to the introduction of Vehicle to Everything ( V2X) communication in order to promote greater road safety and greater environmental sustainability of mobility. The project involved the development of a hardware and software system, able to increase the accuracy in the location of the vehicle and the availability of the signal over time through the reception of satellite signals integrated with data from both on-board sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, odometers, etc.) and infrastructure, in addition to the detection of obstacles and road signs, the planning and control process based on information from heterogeneous sources
Il progetto ha previsto lo sviluppo di un sistema hardware e software, in grado di aumentare la precisione nella localizzazione del veicolo e la disponibilità del segnale nel tempo attraverso ricezione dei segnali satellitari integrati ai dati provenienti sia dai sensori di bordo (accelerometri, giroscopi, odometri etc), sia dall’infrastruttura, oltre al rilevamento degli ostacoli e della segnaletica stradale, del processo di pianificazione e controllo basati su informazioni provenienti da fonti eterogenee
