Innovaway’s tech transfer: PNRR’s drive to the South for new hires

On the horizon there are 100 million turnover. An objective that the founder and CEO Antonio Giacomini aims to achieve with determination after having cut off his 25 years of activity with his Innovaway. Founded with his brother and two brothers-in-law in a difficult district of Naples, the Rione Traiano, the company specialized in technology transfer soon became a reference point for talented young people from the area who could find a professional landing in the city. Today the group has over a thousand employees with an average age of 38 and 50% women.

«The ICT can be the keystone to revive the whole of the South» says Giacomini, who also founded and chairs the Its Campania for the training of boys and girls in the field of STEM who can successfully enter the world of work by crossing a growing offer from companies. Research and innovation are the main threads of an industry which is in full development and at the service of the digital transition: Key turning point for the country’s growth according to the guidelines of the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience within the framework of the Next Generation EU.

Strategy

Customer orientation, dynamism and operational excellence are the three engines that Giacomini has turned on to push Innovaway towards its stated goals. With ten operating offices, seven in Italy and three abroad, the company serves over three hundred customers in two hundred countries around the world and has established partnerships with the best players in the sector. New investment frontiers include Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, Digital Experience in the software field, Cloud, Infrastructure & Security, Global Service Desk. Without ever cutting off the roots with the territory that gave birth to all this.
