Innovaway, a leading group in the ICT market, grows and enters the world of video surveillance by acquiring 70 percent of BitSolution, a company specializing in the creation of IoT solutions for both individuals and companies, as well as for the public administration. And Mobile Control is the latest discovery in video surveillance: an armored street totem, self-protected, self-powered by a solar panel and installable in a few minutes without requiring connection to the power line or the data transmission network. "With the acquisition of BitSolution and the Mobile Control proposal, Innovaway - declares the CEO of the Innovaway Group Antonio Giacomini - consolidates its commitment on the IoT front, a technology spreading rapidly both at a domestic and corporate level, which has long been at the center of attention of the Scientific Committee, a real observatory of excellence set up by the Group. It is estimated that by 2020 there will be up to 21 billion devices connected to the Internet, forever changing the way humans interact with everyday objects ". Mobile Control is an autonomous and mobile video control system, which uses a Cloud platform. In addition to intelligent video control, through a wide range of IoT sensors, it allows the increase of range of action for the prevention of fires and the control of air and wastewater quality. From Mobile Control, the intervention of the operations center can be activated 24 hours a day to manage alarms and request information in 25 languages. With the increase in information collected by IoT devices, the potential of these "intelligent" systems grows, with consequent problems in terms of security and privacy. The system is open to the implementation of other features, such as the integration of an innovative e-Paper display for information and advertising, connected to the internet and with low energy consumption. "In 2019 - concludes Giacomini - it will be necessary to adopt a digital ethics that goes beyond being compliant with regulations: respect for privacy will be an enabling factor for vendors to gain the trust of customers and consumers, especially in the increasingly pervasive field of the Internet of Things ".
