It is called Solomax and is an innovative platform designed to improve healthcare in the field of cardiovascular disease. Developed with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development, through the Sustainable Growth Fund - application sector "Life Sciences" - and co-financed by the European Commission and other public and private bodies, Solomax (acronym for "Social Network of MedicAl EXperiences") represents a significant step forward in the digitisation of health.
Solomax aims to improve the management of cardiovascular disease through advanced technologies and an integrated network of services. It is not only a technology platform, but an ecosystem that facilitates collaboration and reduces the distance between patients, caregivers and doctors, promoting shared management of pathologies and effective communication. The platform is the result of a close collaboration between Innovaway, the University of Salerno (UNISA), Ericsson, Beyond and Clinica Minerva.
In particular, Innovaway, a company specialized in digital innovation with headquarters in Naples, as project leader coordinated the development of the portal that integrates advanced features such as televisitation, telemedicine, telemonitoring and a "cardio" Symptom Checker, management of appointments, social network and blog therapy, Solomax chat management and sharing with other medical specialists, management of therapies (food, physical activity, medication intake). This tool, developed in collaboration with the UNISA Department of Medicine, allows patients to consult a quiz specific to cardiovascular symptoms, facilitating the diagnostic process.
